What are epoxy floor coatings?
Epoxy coatings are made up of epoxide resin and polyamine hardeners. When the two are combined they create a thick, smooth and durable coating over your concrete flooring.
The epoxy resin is harder and tougher than the concrete itself, providing you with a chemical resistant, abrasion resistant, easy to clean and aesthetically pleasing floor to brighten up your space.
An additional layer of Polyurethane coating can also be applied over the top of the floor, providing UV resistance and even more added protection
Epoxy is not paint. Epoxy is far stronger and more durable than normal paints. Paint can have epoxy added to it to increase its durability, but that would be classed as an epoxy paint, not epoxy coating.
